Wednesday Raja Yoga Classes

We resumed our yoga classes after a 3-year COVID hiatus, and you are invited to start fresh with us! 🎉🎉🎉

Raja yoga is a comprehensive path that includes practices

for the body, mind and soul. The class starts with a yoga

teaching, followed by yogasana (postures), pranayama

(breathing exercises), and/or mental exercises (including

meditation, chanting, brain twisters, etc). Poses are gentle

yet effective and focus on building balance, flexibility, and

strength. If you can sit down and get up from your mat

without assistance, then you can do this class. Beginners,

persons with physical limitations and seniors are encouraged

to join us. Men and women are equally welcome!

Instructor Anamika (Margaret) has over 30 years of experience and was trained by SVYASA, a yoga institution certified by the Indian government.

Please dress comfortably and bring a mat if you have one (a limited number are available for use), a water bottle, and any props as needed. 🙏

Day/Time: Wednesdays, 11:00am - 12:15pm

Location: Universalist Unitarian Church of Farmington, 25301 Halsted Rd., Farmington Hills, MI 48335

(Park in the unpaved parking lot in front and walk to the lower level side entrance. The door opens to the yoga room).

Cost: $15 Walk-in, or $100 for a 10-class punch card (valid for 6 months from the date of issuance)
