Free and Low-Cost
Advertising
We offer free advertising to yoga studios or instructors who will in turn promote our classes and events for free. Or we offer low-cost advertising of yoga-related classes and events to all other studios and instructors.
The only requirement is that you are a sincere
follower of the yogic teachings and wish to do
something positive in the world.
Sponsor a Homeless Person or Family
People become homeless due to catastrophic illness, loss of employment, a natural disaster, death of a spouse or other personal tragedies. Yoga Michigan works with local shelters to provide financial and other assistance.
If you have items, money or time to donate or
would like to participate in a fundraiser, we
welcome your help.
Free and Low-cost
Yoga Instruction
To spread the benefits of yoga, we offer free introductory or low-cost yoga instruction to schools, church groups, senior groups, prisons, shelters or those who cannot afford to pay for classes.
If you are an organization that is interested in
receiving instruction or an instructor or yoga
school that would like to offer your services,
we would enjoy hearing from you
Michigan Ashram Project
Our future goal is to start an ashram in the Metro Detroit area where people may attend classes, hold events, enjoy organic gardening, participate in alternative healing, or just spend time long- or short-term in a positive, harmonious environment.
This project is still in the dreaming stage, but
we are accepting ideas, commitments of help
and financial and other forms of donations.
